Item coding predating item release
Started By
My suggestion is a simple one in theory but requires coordination,

I was thinking, in order to cut down on the number of refunds that have to be submitted and to increase general user satisfaction we make a point of ensuring that every item is coded and possibly tested before it is released to the market.

In order to accomplish this I was thinking the number of items with functions, especially those that have never been coded before, be cut back or eliminated until such a time as all of the items currently in existence have been coded to do what their descriptions say they will do.

After that it might just be a matter of lengthening the amount of time between when and item is ordered and when it is released.

Please feel free to add your own ideas in this vein. Thank you.

Completely agree. It's confusing to the members when items are released without being coded. Then the coding gets backed up and whatnot. I'm glad that effort is being taken to sort this problem out :)

I fully agree that we need to be more organized where this is concerned, and I've been taking steps to try and ensure this. This month's monthlies, for example, should be all ready to go as far as effects coding by the time we release them.
